Payment:
Payment can be made by Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express from this site simply by selecting the "Add To Cart" button next to your selected items. You will be taken to a secure SSL Pay Pal site which will allow you to pay using your pre-existing Pay Pal account or by creating a new one. Pay Pal no longer requires check out with an account you now are given an option during the check out process!

Shipping:
Shipping charges are calculated at a percentage of the total order. We normally ship USPS but FEDEX or UPS may be used as well. We do not have a minimum order, with the exception of the Whole Sale or Prival Label products. Currently shipping only within the Continental United States.
Backorders, though rare, are not automatically noted on order confirmation or on invoices.
Current turn around time is 3-5 business days on retails orders plus transit time within the United States only. Currently we do not ship internationally.
*** Pleae note: Special order items, private label, wholesale have a longer lead time. Bottles have a 7-10 day turn around time for shipment.

***If you are placing an order by mail or fax please be sure to include the freight charges into your total.
NOTE: Purchases of multiple quantities of products may require more than one box to properly pack the shipment. This seems to occur most often with the larger sizes of packaging materials. Should this occur, S&H quoted online will no longer apply. We will email the customer a new, corrected invoice showing final S&H charges for the balance due. If the customer paid via PayPal, we will ask that additional funds be disbursed via PayPal before we can ship.

Return Policy:
Because of the nature of the following items, we cannot accept returns on:
Essential Oils, Fragrance Oils, Herbs & Botanicals, Carrier Oils, Powders and Salts, Pigments, Colorants, and Dyes. Special mix products and most wholesale and private label items.
We do accept returns on the other items on our web site, on the condition that the item is returned to us within 15 days of your receipt of the item. There is a 15% restocking fee for all items returned.
BEFORE returning the items, you must contact us for a return claim number. Do not mail back the goods until you have received a return claim number. The item must be packaged so that there is no damage to the item, and must be in resalable condition.
If you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, and it is obvious that the damages occurred as a result of improper handling by the carrier, as the receiver of such goods, you must file a claim against to the Postal Service. We ship all orders fully insured.

Wholesale orders can now be placed on line!
We do extend this special pricing to anyone with an initial order of $100.00 of wholesale items and any reorder of $50.00 in wholesale items.
Please note turn around time on wholesale orders will vary depending on the size of the order. Usually a 7-10 business day turn around time is normal. You will be contacted once your order is placed with an approximate ship date.
Private label orders are non-returnable.

The customer is responsible for the use or mis-use of any product purchased from Beacon Botanicals. We are not responsible for recipes or end products which don't turn out as the customer expected. Essential and fragrance oils are not to be used undiluted on the skin and must be kept away from children and pets.

Cancellations:
All cancelled orders for orders which have not yet been prepared and/or packed will incur a $10 cancellation fee. Please email or fax your cancellation request so you will have proof. The cancellation fee will be deducted from the credit due you. Our website charges your credit card immediately upon order placement. Cancelling an order which is already prepared (for whatever reason), including if the customer is dissatisfied with total S&H charges: We will charge a 15% restocking charge on the cost of the products along with the cancellation fee.

Prices:
While we do our best to publish correct price on our website, we reserve the right to correct prices on any order if a price is incorrect. The customer has the right to ask us to remove the product from the order if the correct price is not agreeable; we will issue a credit.

Rush orders:
We require a minimum of 3-5 business days for a retail products to process & ship an order, this will change according to the season and you will be updated on shipping dates as soon as your order is placed if we can not meet this turn around time. When placing an order please allow yourself enough time plus shipping.
Wholesale, private label, and bulk purchases will have a longer turn around time. *** Please note special order items and Bottles have a 7-10 day turn around time for shipment.

Private Label Orders:
We'd be happy to create a private label for our products with your information on it currenlty only for wholesale products.
In general the labels will be similar to ours with your logo, name, a brief marketing statement, and contact information. We also include ingredient lists.
As always we want you to be happy with your Beacon Botanicals purchase, so you will have the final say on your labels. A one-time non-refundable set-up fee of $25.00 must be added to your first order.
Private Label design is done on a "first come, first served basis" and preference is given to requests received with an order for our products. When we're busy, it may take a week or two before we begin work on your request. We'll contact you with a time estimate as soon as we can. We will not begin work until we receive a confirmation from you by email or in writing.
On Private Label orders we have a $100.00 minimum and a $50.00 re-order minimum. Please remember this when you place a re-order…You must still meet this minimum amount before shipping. All Private label orders are non-refundable and non-returnable as they are custom made to order.

Packaging:
All of our product is weighed, mixed, bottled, and labeled at the time of order to ensure quality and freshness.
Each bottle is hand labeled which adds to the hand made feel and rustic flavor of our products. Enjoy!
Like the expensive brands, our products come in convenient packaging. But we don't spend a lot of money on fancy labeling -
instead we prefer to pass those savings on to our clients. After all, isn't
it the product that's important?

About Our Soap:
Certified organic oils of Palm, Coconut, Olive and Palm Kernel are blended and mixed at precise temperatures with an alkali solution. (Modern Alkali is made by running electricity through salt water.) The batch is mixed for hours, allowing it to thicken slowly. When it is ready, botanical concentrates and organic herbs, spices and grains are added. The batch is then poured into wooden molds and kept warm for about three days. As the soap solidifies, alkali salts begin to rise to the top like cream. Around the fourth day the soap, now solid in block form, is removed from the molds, skimmed of all alkali salts, and cut into individual bars. The bars are then placed on custom made oak and stainless steel screened drying racks and cured for about three more weeks. This process produces the mildest soap that can be made. Often lasting about twice as long as conventional bars, this soap is extremely moisturizing and soothing to your skin.
Various herbal extracts called essential oils are used to enhance and individualize the soaps, as well as to accommodate various skin types. Peppermint, Balsam , and Citrus, contain natural astringents making them suitable for skin that is not dry. Lavender relaxes pores making it the perfect soap for normal to dry skin. Shea Butter creates a soap that works best on the driest skin types. Add organic oatmeal and you have Oatmeal Lavender, excellent for dry sensitive skin. Woodspice is naturally deodorizing and stimulating and is great for normal to oily skin. Oats 'N Aloe Unscented is a mild and hypoallergenic bar, perfect for the most sensitive of skin types. This bar comes highly recommended from sufferers of Eczema, Psoriasis, and Dermatitis. Enjoy!!!
